Zach Brunner’s Week 8 fantasy football rankings for both PPR and Half PPR scoring leagues!
Cue the spooky music, since NFL Week 8 has arrived. What we have been calling the fantasy “bye-polcalypse” and what others just started calling “bye-mageddon” (worse name) is officially here. Not only are we continuing to navigate the long injury list, but we also have six teams with a bye week. Due to this, creating a fantasy lineup could be much tougher, but hopefully my Week 8 fantasy football rankings will help you out!
Below, I have my PPR and Half PPR Week 8 fantasy football rankings! Check the date for when they were last updated, as they will be updated throughout the week. Due to how FantasyPros grades us, the emphasis will be put on the Half PPR side, but feel free to ask me some questions on Twitter/X — @FantasyFlurry — and tell me if you agree or disagree with my quick-hitter rankings to start things off.
Weekly Top 5 Rankings
Let’s get into my top five rankings before we talk fantasy! The NBA season is officially here, and FlurrySports’ Luke Reimer wrote a massive article predicting everything this season you should check out! I was once a massive NBA fan, and would love to become one again. However, the worst-run sports league of the “big four” has too many things that hold it back for me. Let’s rank the five biggest changes I would make if you all used your voice to give me supreme power to fix the NBA.
- Fire Adam Silver — the worst commissioner in sports is OUT! He has actively destroyed this league, culminating in Silver not wanting fans to watch games this year. Smart move, dumbass.
- Fix the NBA Cup — Move when the NBA Cup happens, and make its schedule one that makes sense so people can watch on purpose. We also need real stakes.
- Boot LeBron James — If Adam Silver is the top of the list for ruining the NBA, LeBron James is second. Not that I want to make their lives any better, but Lakers fans should throw me a parade for booting LeBron.
- Fix the All-Star Game — It feels like Silver has blinders on, focusing solely on the NBA All-Star game. He has managed to bring new braindead iterations every year. Want my innovative idea? East vs West.
- Change the Schedule — I think reducing games won’t actually reduce revenue much (especially with this season’s media decisions), but that part is optional. Instead, make the regular season December through August.
Again, I honestly would love to hear who your top five in this list are! Now, let’s get back to fantasy football. Let’s talk about my membership that you should be joining, then we’ll hop into the Week 8 fantasy football rankings! If you need them, I have fantasy football IDP rankings here as well.
