With six teams on bye this week, there are a few quarterbacks that you are not going to be able to rely on this week. Players like Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff and Sam Darnold will not be available. On top of that, injuries may still plague some signal callers in the league. Luckily for you, I have three incredible fantasy football QB streaming options for you to get that win this week!

Week 8 Fantasy Football QB Streaming Options
Michael Penix Jr vs Miami Dolphins (17.1%)
While the verdict is still out on how Michael Penix Jr. is as a starting quarterback in the NFL, he has not had the easiest slate of defenses the last two weeks. Now, Penix has the opportunity to get back on track with a matchup against the Miami Dolphins this week. The Dolphins have been bad against opposing passers this season. They are giving up 23 points per game. They have given up 1,519 passing yards and 11 touchdowns this season. The matter of fact is that this Dolphins defense is not good at all.
With the Dolphins not giving you any terrifying resistance, Michael Penix Jr. will be able to get back to what we all know he can be. Surrounded by players like Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, Drake London and Darnell Mooney, Penix has the weapons to dominate this week. This feels like a week where Atlanta can right the ship after suffering a tough conference loss to San Francisco. Penix is not a running quarterback by any means, but the Dolphins have given up four rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks on the season as well. It is possible that Penix could fall in for a score of his own.

Tyrod Taylor at Cincinnati Bengals (4.1%)
At this point in his career, we know that Justin Fields is not an NFL-level passer. He is not a winner either. While that is not totally his fault, it is certainly not what the Jets want to lead their team as they are looking for the first win of the season. To help remedy this, the Jets are likely turning to Tyrod Taylor this week to lead them. Taylor has been in the league long enough not to be helpless as a fantasy football QB option for you. He is a great start this week, as the Jets take on the Cincinnati Bengals, who have been bad against opposing quarterbacks this season.
On the season, the Bengals are giving up 22.4 points per game to opposing quarterbacks. That includes 265 passing yards per game. On the season as a whole, the Bengals have given up 1,855 passing yards, which ranks 30th in the NFL. While the Jets are certainly not the cream of the crop when it comes to fantasy points, it is hard to say that you are not going to look at Taylor, given the matchup. At 36 years old, Taylor still has some rushing ability in him, giving him a higher floor than most bye-week fill-in options.
Cam Ward at Indianapolis Colts (7.7%)
With how good the Indianapolis Colts have been on offense this season, their struggles in stopping opposing passers have quietly gone under the radar. Some of that may be due to teams playing from behind against Indianapolis, but if that is the case, that means there are just opportunities for streamer quarterbacks this week. Cam Ward fits that role this week, as he is owned in less than 10% of leagues on ESPN. The Colts are giving up 20.1 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season.
On the season, the Colts are giving up 273.4 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. The Colts currently rank 31st in the NFL in passing yards allowed to opposing quarterbacks, with 1,914. Given that the Titans are not a great football team, this is probably a game where Indianapolis can get up early, meaning that the Titans will have to pass to keep this game competitive. There have been some ups and downs for Ward this season, but this is certainly a game where we can see why he was the first pick of the draft.
