Fantasy Football Playoffs Strength of Schedule For Every Team

The fantasy football playoffs will sneak up on you if you don’t pay close enough attention. The same can be said for the fantasy trade deadline, which may be a week or two away for you. Don’t get so focused on this week’s matchup that you lose sight of the big picture: you’re trying to win a championship. To do that, you need to start looking at the strength of schedule for your players.

I snuck into the playoffs last season, but since many of my players had easy matchups to end the year, I was the one who hoisted my league fantasy award. If you are one of those people who gets too comfortable with their team and loses in the playoffs due to bad matchups, then that is on you.

I don’t want that to happen to you, and neither do you! So, let’s talk about the fantasy football playoffs strength of schedule for every team!

Best and Worst QB Fantasy Football Strength of Schedule

The easiest fantasy football strength of schedule for the fantasy playoffs (Weeks 15-17) in the Carolina Panthers. And… nobody celebrated… alright. Yes, Bryce Young has the easiest schedule. It gets better, because next is the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys… yikes.

The toughest schedule for QBs belongs to Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions, but they are closely followed by Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

If you want to look at the league as a whole to see who has the easiest matchups by position, I have all of that data compiled for you! There also is a breakdown of which teams allow the most points to each position.

This data is available to purchase on Buy Me a Coffee here under “shop” for only $10! This includes the Boom/Bust + Consistency rankings, which are updated every single week, as well as any other data published this season! Otherwise, you can get just the strength of schedule data for $3.99.

Best and Worst RB Fantasy Football Strength of Schedule

The RB is a bit nicer for good matchups during the fantasy football playoffs. Breece Hall and the New York Jets have the easiest matchups during this time, while James Conner and the Arizona Cardinals are second.

As for the toughest matchups, look away if you are a Najee Harris fantasy owner since the Pittsburgh Steelers have the toughest schedule. With matchups against both the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, you may not want to keep Najee Harris on your fantasy team for the full season.

Fantasy Football Playoffs Strength of Schedule: New York Giants

Best and Worst WR Fantasy Football Strength of Schedule

Much like with QBs, the fantasy football strength of schedule for WRs in the playoffs isn’t great. The three teams with the easiest matchups during this time are the Chicago Bears, New York Giants and Carolina Panthers. There may be some buy-low opportunities there, but the only receiver you currently have any confidence in is Malik Nabers.

As for the toughest matchups, these three teams are the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos. This means Brian Thomas Jr. could end up being a great sell-high candidate. It also could be your “13th reason why” in terms of owning Patriots or Broncos WRs.

Best and Worst TE Fantasy Football Strength of Schedule

The tight end position is a volatile one, but in terms of easy matchups in the fantasy playoffs, you have the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns. David Njoku could be a great player to add for your championship run.

Look away at the toughest matchups though, as this includes the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins and Travis Kelce. Are you really trading away Travis Kelce at this point? Well, if you can sell him at max value, it could be a risk that pays off big for you!
