David Bell Draft Profile

Strengths

David Bell has the ability to line up both outside and in the slot. He has great footwork, which is proved by his sharp routes and ability to get open. Bell has the central balance and footwork to run an NFL route tree. He has the ability to run crossing routes and sit in the middle of the defense with strength. Bell can provide excellent sideline ability, as he has the ability to go to the back shoulder. He shows an ability to run with the ball after the catch as well.

Weaknesses

While Bell has good footwork, he can be pushed off of his routes. He needs to be able to change speeds when running various downfield routes. Bell does not show an excellent ability to come down with catches in traffic. Though he does have the ability to make something happen after the catch, it takes him a while to get going when running.
