I don’t know about everyone else, but I still can’t believe everything that happened last weekend. It was a wild college football betting slate, filled with upsets and big performances atop the rankings.

Unfortunately, the college football betting slate this weekend doesn’t look as exciting. However, we can handle that, because last weekend was so incredible. Some of the biggest matchups this weekend are Oklahoma State visiting Texas in Austin and 6-0 Kentucky traveling to Georgia to take on the top-ranked Bulldogs. It should still be a good weekend of football. And, if we have learned anything this year, it’s that this year is wide open, and chaos is everywhere. So let’s take a look at my best bets for college football in week 7.

Best Bets For Week 7 | College Football Betting

College football betting odds are taken from BetMGM Sportsbook.

Kentucky vs Georgia

Spread: UK +21.5 (-110) | UGA -21.5 (-110)
Moneyline: UK (+950) | UGA (-2000)
Total: 44.5 — Over (-110) | Under (-110)

I’m going to stick with what’s been working for me with Georgia. Obviously, everyone knows about the Bulldogs defense, as it is ranked first in the country in total defense, giving up only 201.2 yards per game. However, Kentucky’s defense isn’t too shabby themselves. They are ranked 17th in total defense. With that being said, they still give up over 300 yards per game, which is a testament to how good the Bulldogs defense is.

Georgia is favored by 21.5, and I think they cover and the under hits. Georgia is 5-1 this year against the spread. More than one of those games was against a very good team. As for Kentucky, they will be able to slow the Bulldog offense by stuffing the run. Kentucky’s rush defense that ranks 23rd in the country, is no slouch. However, I think Kentucky will play with Georgia for a quarter and a half, then the Bulldogs and their suffocating defense and potent ground game will be too much for the Wildcats I really like the under and Georgia here.

College Football Picks: (UGA -21.5, Under 44.5)

Michigan State vs Indiana

Spread: MSU -4.5 (-110) | IU +4.5 (-110)
Moneyline: MSU (-185) | IU (+160)
Total: 49 — Over (-115) | Under (-105)

Quietly, Michigan State may be one of the better teams in the country. Running back Kenneth Walker III would be the Heisman winner if the award was given out this weekend. He already has 913 yards rushing through six games. On the other sideline, Indiana is just not a good football team. Michael Penix Jr. cannot complete simple passes. However, there’s a possibility he won’t play and backup Jack Tuttle will step in. Either way, the Spartans will be too strong in the trenches. I don’t think Indiana has given up on the season thus far, but this might be the game it all falls apart. Take the Spartans.

College Football Picks: Michigan State -4.5

Central Florida vs Cincinnati

Spread: UCF +21.5 (-105) | UC -21.5 (-115)
Moneyline: UCF (+800) | UC (-1600)
Total: 56.5 — Over (-110) | Under (-110)

This one might be the exact opposite of what we see in the Kentucky vs Georgia matchup. Both teams are good offensively. UCF is ranked 21st in the nation in total offense, averaging 469 yards per game. The Bearcats are 56th in the nation in total offense, averaging 415.2 yards per game. However, Cincinnati hits a lot of big plays, especially this year, averaging about seven yards per play. On top of that, the Bearcat defense is 22nd in the nation and has shut down teams like Notre Dame on their way to being undefeated.

This game should be a bit of a lopsided shootout. I expect a lot of points and, on top of that, the over has hit three out of four times in Cincinnati’s home games. I really like the over here.

College Football Picks: Over 56.5

UCLA vs Washington

Spread: UCLA +1.5 (-110) | UW -1.5 (-110)
Moneyline: UCLA (EVEN) | UW (-120)
Total: 55 — Over (-110) | Under (-110)

This is a very interesting Pac-12 college football betting matchup. The “Sailgaters” will be out on display in Union Bay. UCLA has cooled off a lot since their 2-0 start but is still a good football team. Their losses are against Arizona State and Fresno State, who have both been impressive during this campaign. UCLA, under Chip Kelly, has been a pretty run-heavy team, and they should stick to that on Saturday night. While Washington’s defense is good, they have been crushed on the ground at times, giving up an average of 180 yards per game on the ground.

With that being said, UCLA’s defense isn’t the best either. Chip Kelly and UCLA are 2-0 against the spread away from home this year, which is tough to do in the Pac-12. However, I think Kelly keeps riding the wave and knocks off Washington. It will be close down to the end as well because of Washington’s turnover happy defense. So getting the points on the road is the play.

College Football Picks: UCLA +1.5
