Race fans, start your engines! Burnt Rubber Racing is taking the checkered flag as the hottest new NASCAR podcast, presented by FlurrySports!

In Episode 2, we recap another wild weekend at Daytona International, this time courtesy of the road course. Young Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs emerged victoriously, and Kyle Petty thinks veteran JGR drivers should be worried about their jobs. Denny Hamlin obviously disagreed, but do we? We also dive into the late-race “situation” that developed between Chase Elliott and Corey LaJoie before turning our attention to a preview of this weekend’s Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. DFS and betting picks are of course included!

Chase Elliott and Corey LaJoie Have Beef

While Christopher Bell was racing his way to victory lane last week at the Daytona Road Course, a “situation” was developing back in the pack. One of the drivers involved was road course ace Chase Elliott. After taking contact from Corey LaJoie that led to him spinning around, Hendrick Motorsports’ Elliott decided to get even with the Spire Motorsports No. 7 car driver. The ensuing bump knocked LaJoie out of the race and set up some hilarious comments from him on this week’s edition of the Stacking Pennies Podcast.

But wait, that’s not the only beef we cover in Episode 2 of Burnt Rubber Racing! Should veteran Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. seriously be concerned about their job security? Kyle Petty thinks so, and Hamlin wasn’t afraid to clap back. Two weeks into the 2021 NASCAR season and we’ve had two first-time winners and two developing beefs! What more can us racing fans ask for?
