One could reasonably argue that Sunday’s series-opener was the best defensive game that the Bulls have played all season long. Despite leading scorer DeMar DeRozan finishing over nine points below his season average, Chicago battled right down to the very end. Keep in mind that this is a Bulls team that allowed over 111 points per 100 possessions this season. Of the 16 teams to reach the NBA Playoffs, only Atlanta ranked worse in defensive efficiency. Center Nikola Vucevic led Chicago with 24 points in Sunday’s Bulls vs Bucks matchup. Zach LaVine matched DeRozan with 18.

The fact that the Bucks played so poorly on the offensive end and still emerged with the victory in Game 1 is very telling. MVP finalist Giannis Antetokounmpo was actually the only player to surpass the 20-point threshold for Milwaukee. One has to assume that at least one or two of Antetokounmpo’s teammates will have a more productive game offensively when making tonight’s Bulls vs Bucks prediction. The defending NBA champs also coughed up 21 turnovers on Sunday. That is a number that is virtually guaranteed to regress towards the Bucks’ mean of 13.5 turnovers per contest in Game 2.

Bulls vs Bucks Prediction | NBA Betting Picks

Coming into the NBA Playoffs, the Bucks were one of the most lopsided favorites in their respective First Round series. Even after the Bulls hung tough in Game 1, the fact that NBA betting odds still list Milwaukee as a double-digit favorite for tonight’s contest is quite telling. One could argue that the closer-than-expected series-opener may have benefitted the Bucks more than it hurt them. The champs learned right away that they cannot take Chicago lightly.

As previously discussed, the Bucks were far from their best on Sunday in terms of both offensive execution and giveaways. Assuming Giannis Antetokounmpo has more help in the scoring department this evening, the Bucks should be able to assert themselves as the superior team. The fact that a surprisingly large amount of public bettors are backing the Bulls as an underdog only makes laying the points with Milwaukee all the more appealing.

Our NBA betting Bulls vs Bucks prediction tonight will be Milwaukee -10 at BetOnline
