The Milwaukee Bucks have had an active Monday night into Tuesday morning. Following the Jrue Holiday trade, the Bucks were not ready to go to sleep quite yet. Instead, they completed a deal with the Sacramento Kings in a sign-and-trade deal for shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanović.

The Bucks will trade away Donte Divincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova and DJ Wilson in the deal.

Bogdan Bogdanović Trade to Bucks

Bogdanović was set to become a free agent, and a coveted one at that. Serbian 28-year-old is coming off his best season in the NBA, in which he averaged 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 29.0 minutes. Bogdanović was also dialed in from deep, hitting 2.7 shots from three-point range per game at 37.2 percent.

The newest Buck is often labeled a shooter. Though, he is more of a playmaker than he is given credit for. Whether it’s setting up his teammates, making a hustle play on defense or moving off the ball, he is a player with high upside. Bogdanović should thrive in Milwaukee, with attention being given to the other studs in the Bucks’ lineup.

Following the trades for both Holiday and Bogdanović, it appears the Bucks are confident that Giannis Antetokounmpo will sign his extension soon.
