After a chaotic past week of football, NFL Week 6 has a lot to live up to. We begin the week with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles, who are both coming off wins. However, the Buccaneers are the clear NFL betting favorites, despite playing on the road.

The following Buccaneers vs Eagles NFL betting preview will give you the current odds, betting trends and picks for the Week 6 matchup, along with a stream link to watch games all season long.

The Buccaneers enter this game without their Hall of Fame tight end, Rob Gronkowski, as he continues to be out with injured ribs. Linebacker Lavonte David is the only other player that didn’t practice on Tuesday. But even without those two, the Buccaneers should continue to roll on. The offense is stacked with playmakers. Defensively, the front seven is solid, but the secondary is damaged and weak. With the Eagles refusing to run the ball, Tampa will need to commit extra attention to the air raid of Philly.

The Eagles are also likely down their TE1, with Dallas Goedert being placed on the COVID list. It would seem impossible for him to be removed in time for the game, but much like the league’s salary cap, rules surrounding COVID also appear to be imaginary. Right tackle Lane Johnson didn’t practice Tuesday due to a personal matter. However, it seems serious, as coach Nick Sirianni is unsure Johnson will return this season. This is a massive blow to an already damaged offensive line, especially with a Thursday matchup against Tampa. Jalen Hurts will need to show off his mobility and poise as a passer for the Eagles to have much of a chance.
