    Brevin Jordan Highlights

    Brevin Jordan Draft Profile

    Strengths

Brevin Jordan progressed exceptionally well during his time at Miami. His junior season in 2020 was easily the one in which he most looked the part of an NFL tight end. He lined up in a variety of positions for the Hurricanes, including out of the slot and in the backfield as a primary blocker. Jordan possesses quality size and athleticism that will make him tough to deal with no matter what his primary role is at the next level. His ball skills are strong and he has proven to be a physically imposing ball carrier after the catch. Jordan also does a nice job on plays that break down with scrambling to get open and bail out his quarterback.

    Weaknesses

While his catch skills and ball control are impressive, Jordan could still stand to add some variety to his route tree. This is something that he continuously improved year by year at Miami. Another major knock against him is his blocking technique. Jordan has the tendency to drop his head into contact which is not only dangerous in terms of heightening his risk of injury but also leads to poor form on blocks. He also struggles to sustain his blocks.
