Boston Celtics Draft Targets
Terrence Jones Jr.
Terrence Jones Jr. is a high-flying prospect who projects well, if he can develop a jump shot. He shot 82% from the free throw line at Texas Tech, so there is potential for him to develop a consistent jumper. As a shooting guard-small forward hybrid, he offers flexibility to cover for both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum off the bench, alongside Aaron Nesmith.
Herb Jones is a player out of Alabama who could have an immediate impact for the Boston Celtics, in a similar way as Payton Pritchard. Jones excels at slashing to the rim, but needs to work on his jumper. He’s a tremendous athlete and versatile defender who will certainly be there for the Celtics at No. 45. While many are overlooking him, Jones has upside.
