The NASCAR Cup Series will go short-track racing under the lights on Saturday night. Martinsville Speedway will host the second of three straight short track races this weekend. The race will be Saturday night on FS1. A lot of drivers are still looking for their first win of the year and will push their equipment further than it has been before. Read below to find out who you should and shouldn’t put in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineup.

Blue-Emu 400 Drivers to Consider | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Martin Truex Jr ($11,500)

The driver who shares the name with the track. Martin Truex Jr is a guy you have to have in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineup. The guy might start 20th, but the team will get it going on race day. He has won three of the last five races on the track (two straight in this specific race). MTJ is going to be at the front of this race and you need to be along for the ride.

Denny Hamlin ($10,300)

Denny Hamlin has not had the best year so far but was able to get the win last week. He has the momentum after getting the win last week. Hamlin is the active driver leader for most wins at Martinsville. He will start 25th but like Truex, it shouldn’t take long for him to get to the front. Put the 11 car in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineup this week.

AJ Allmendinger ($6,600)

AJ Allmendinger is back in the 16 car for this week and he has a pretty good history here at Martinsville. An average finish of 17th in his last four races at the track including two top-10s. He has better equipment than then though as JTG Daughtry didn’t have the best stuff. Kaulig is better but not the best. He does start 36th, but AJ does have the seat time and can get to the front before the end of the race.

Blue Emu 400 Drivers to Avoid | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Chris Buescher ($7,000)

The 17 car had a great qualifying run as they qualified fourth. Chris Buescher only has two top-10s on the year. Buescher and Keselowski have started slow so far this year, but Keselowski can get around this track pretty well. Buescher on the other hand has an average finish of 17.4 and only one top ten. He is only going to lose spots and not net a lot of points. Skip the 17 this week.

Daniel Suarez ($6,800)

Daniel Suarez has not exactly run well at Martinsville so far throughout his career. A 22.9 average finish with two top-10s in his last 10 starts at this track. Suarez will start 30th Saturday night so he will have a tough time getting to the front. Avoid Suarez for this week.

Kyle Larson ($10,600)

Kyle Larson might be one of the best racers in the Cup Series, but at Martinsville, he’s not worth his DraftKings NASCAR DFS price. In his last eight starts at the track, he has a 19.1 average finish, one top-five and two top-10s. For him to have premier pricing you should want him to have better stats at this track. This is one week where you can leave the 5 on the bench.
