Offensive prospects are dominating headlines for the 2024 NFL Draft, but it hasn’t been the running backs who have been discussed. After a strong RB free agent class, this draft class is being devalued a bit. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t talented players. For example, one team is going to be very excited to land Jonathon Brooks out of Michigan.

Who is going to be the lucky team to draft Corum? There seem to be several teams interested and in the mix. Below, we will give a Blake Corum draft projection from many industry experts, as well as look at a Blake Corum draft profile and scouting report.

Blake Corum Scouting Report

Strengths

Blake Corum is a compact guy who isn’t afraid of contact. He shows patience with the ball, but he gets upfield and finishes runs as well. Corum always looks under control, whether it be with the ball or as a blocker. He also looks natural catching the ball. While showing great tape, it’s also important to mention that he also has great production, which is a big deal.

From everything he has put on tape in his successful college career, Corum has what it takes to be a three-down back in the NFL.

Weaknesses

Corum isn’t a big-play guy, so don’t expect him to be the spark on offense. A big part of that is that he simply isn’t that fast. He also appears to need the volume to be an effective player.
