Best NBA Betting Player Props for Tonight, 3/1
All NBA betting player props odds are taken from BetOnline Sportsbook
Payton Pritchard Under 7.5 Points (-103)
Literally, the only thing that Payton Pritchard has going for him when it comes to this NBA player props offering is his recent form. Listed as the third-string point guard on the Boston Celtics’ depth chart, Pritchard is coming off of two straight double-digit scoring outputs. After piling up 19 points on Saturday, the 24-year-old came right back with another 14 on Sunday despite only playing 17 minutes.
It’s certainly worth noting that Pritchard shot a remarkable 62% over the weekend to produce those point totals. Such a shooting clip is unsustainable for the vast majority of players, including Pritchard. After all, he is shooting just under 40% on the season. The statistical gap between his typical scoring production and tonight’s NBA betting total is also worth noting. The former Oregon star would need to exceed his per-game scoring average of 5.2 by nearly three full points to clear this NBA picks total.

Ivica Zubac Under 12.5 Points (-127)
Tonight’s game marks the second of a home-and-home between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers. These two teams clearly have contrasting styles of play. Despite the Rockets having by far the worst defense in the NBA, betting Clippers center Ivica Zubac to finish under his scoring total tonight makes sense. He did manage to eclipse the NBA player props threshold of 12.5 in Sunday’s game. However, it took a perfect 5-5 shooting display along with several free throws to get there.
On the season Zubac has only scored 9.7 points per game. Thus, he would need to top that mark by over three points to gain the 13 necessary to go over tonight’s NBA betting total. Given that even centers aren’t going to shoot 100% in back-to-back games, Zubac is clearly due for some regression in this area. In addition, his minutes are far from guaranteed. With backup Isaiah Hartenstein continuing to play well when called upon, Zubac probably won’t see 34 minutes tonight as he did on Sunday.

Spencer Dinwiddie Over 3.5 Assists (-148)
While Luka Doncic was phenomenal in the Dallas Mavericks’ upset of Golden State on Sunday, he actually took a back seat as far as assists are concerned. Instead, it was the tandem of Jalen Brunson and trade deadline acquisition Spencer Dinwiddie who dished five helpers apiece. This marked the second time in four games as a Maverick that Dinwiddie finished with five total assists.
On the season to date, Dinwiddie has averaged 5.8 dimes per game. Of course, most of that production came in Washington. Yet, with his minutes hovering right around 30 over the last few contests, it appears that Dinwiddie will continue to play a key role as a distributor in Dallas. Tonight’s NBA player props line of 3.5 comes in over two full assists below Dinwiddie’s season average in the category. The fact that the Mavericks face a Los Angeles Lakers team that is very suspect defensively also bodes well for betting this NBA props offering over.
