I am a simple Wisconsin man: I love beer and sports. I decided to create FlurrySports because I was sick of the politics and non-stories that the fat cat corporations put out. When you see football articles from me, just know that I combine my knowledge from playing, coaching, athletic training, and sports management/economic courses to give you a unique, but I feel well-rounded point of view. I am always down to talk about anything, so follow me on Twitter @FantasyFlurry if you decide you want more of me!

Keys to the Game The Vikings offensive line has a difficult job on Thursday night. Michael Brockers, Ndamukong Suh, and Aaron Donald are any offensive lineman’s nightmare. The Vikings line has been suspect, at best, to start the year. Cousins will need stay upright if the Vikings want to compete with the high-scoring offense, led by Jared Goff. With all of the injuries to the Rams secondary, Cousins and the Viking offense have to exploit the weaknesses that the Rams may have. Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs need to work their way open to gain big chunks of yards. The…

In week 3, two of the greatest quarterbacks in the league broke records. Drew Brees broke a record of his own, but of course, we’re talking about Patrick Mahomes and the magician known as FitzMagic. Let’s take note and break fantasy records of our own this week. To get started, I suggest reviewing my week 4 fantasy football rankings below. I have provided rankings for both PPR and Standard scoring leagues below. The date each position was updated will be displayed, and they will continually be updated through the week. Of course, that means you should be checking back frequently.…

This NFL season certainly has been competitive. However, it’s confusing as all heck! Entering week 3, the Bills were by far the worst team. A rookie led them into Minnesota to whip Mr. Fully Guaranteed and the Vikings. The Patriots were coming off of a loss in Jacksonville, only to lose to a Lions team that has been horrendous AND is led by their former defensive coordinator. And of course, FitzMagic turned into FitzTragic during the first half of Monday Night Football. A strong finish wasn’t enough, and now the Steelers are tied with the Browns yet again, but this…

We’re back after the brief hiatus! Sorry. Of course, we have to talk about the Vikings-Packers matchup, with the horrendous roughing the passer call. We also talk FitzMagic, Aaron Rodgers looking like a nerd, and Jeff (Josh) Gordon being traded to the Patriots! Week 3 kicks off with the New York Jets visiting the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football. When originally scheduled, many thought we would see a battle between the first two rookie quarterbacks selected. While Sam Darnold will lead the Jets, the Browns continue to throw Tyrod Taylor out there. Playing at home on a short week, will the Browns come away with their first win since 2016? It’s been an interesting week for “Brownies,” trading away what many believed to be their best player, Josh Gordon. The organization, and those who cover it, reported some potential red flags from…

Injuries, trades, missed field goals and FitzMagic. There’s your quick recap of the past week in the NFL. Now in week 3, we are beginning to see who is good, who was pretending, and should just give up on the season now (looking at you, Bills). I have to say, I was hesitant on Ryan Fitzpatrick, but after that postgame interview, I’m all in! The Buccaneers are playing like the team I predicted them to be last season, except they also have the confidence from wins over two of the NFC favorites, and are about to take out an AFC…

QB/RB Adds QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, TB (31.7%) FitzMagic. The league’s leading passer seemingly cannot be stopped. This week, he faces the Steelers, who just surrendered six touchdowns at home to Patrick Mahomes. RB Giovani Bernard, CIN (39.5%) Joe Mixon will miss 2-4 weeks. Gio started the final five games last season, getting at least 15 touches in all of them. In those starts, he went for 70 or more yards in all but one. RB Javorius Allen, BAL (18.8%) Allen played the same number of snaps as Alex Collins, but has outplayed him in both games. He is also getting…
