The Green Bay Packers were expected to have an eventful offseason, given their cap space. First, left tackle David Bakhtiari restructured his contract, freeing up over $8 million for the team. On Friday, the team announced they would be cutting linebacker Christian Kirksey and offensive tackle Rick Wagner after both were with the team for one season. Wide receiver Corey Davis was silenced in the Tennessee Titans’ playoff game. However, this was one of the few blemishes on an otherwise terrific season, which came at the perfect time.
