For the past year, the entire NBA community has known that Anthony Davis wanted to be traded to the Lakers. Today, he finally got his wish.

The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN.

    Initial Reaction

The initial reaction to this trade is that it automatically will change the NBA forever. Free agents such as Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving now view Los Angeles as a chance to play with BOTH LeBron James and Anthony Davis on a team that could threaten the Western Conference.
