After agreeing to a deal to acquire D’Angelo Russell from the Nets, the Warriors have traded veteran forward Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as a protected first round pick in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The move comes as no surprise, as a roster move was needed to make room for Russell. The 2015 Finals MVP will join the Grizzlies, after winning three championships with the Warriors. He will serve as a mentor to a young Memphis team looking to improve on a 33-49 record.
