Week 11 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em TE analysis from FlurrySports includes the likes of the Houston Texans’ Dalton Schultz.
Streaming tight ends is a very popular way to play fantasy football. When doing this, though, you are most likely choosing between a couple of players to put into that spot. I am here to help you give an idea of who to choose using players who are in positions to succeed this week. Below, we will help you make those tough decisions in that tight end grey area, discussing our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em players!
Guys like Trey McBride and Travis Kelce are not going to be covered in this article. Those guys are must-starts no matter who they play on any given week. They are just too good of players to sit. The idea is that we are taking those players who may be sitting on your bench as number two tight ends and making the decision. Get the idea?
Now, labeling a player as a “sit” does not mean they are a must-sit player. As always, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings here. You can also become a member to join a group chat with Zach Brunner and other members where all fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em questions are welcomed!

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 TEs
Start: Dalton Schultz Fantasy Outlook vs Tennessee Titans
I gave you Dalton Schultz as my number one fantasy football TE streaming option last week, and now I am labeling him a must-start this week. In the win over the Jaguars, Schultz recorded seven receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown. In three of his last four weeks, Schultz has finished TE8 or better. That has come on the back of 32 targets and 21 receptions in that four-game stretch. Now, the Texans carry the high from that comeback performance against the Jaguars into a matchup with the Tennessee Titans this week.
On the season, the Titans have been getting torched by the run, but without Houston having a solid run game, this is a game where the short pass can thrive. Schultz continues to be a safe floor, big-bodied target over the middle of the field. We know that the Titans are not a very good football team, so this is a game that the Texans should not have a problem moving the ball in. Schultz is on a hot streak right now, and I am going to continue to ride that against the Titans.
Start: Pat Freiermuth Fantasy Outlook vs Cincinnati Bengals
I listed Pat Freiermuth as a tight end streaming option this week, and if you are someone who has been holding onto Freiermuth, now is the time to load him up. At this point in the season, it appears that Freiermuth is the leading candidate in the tight end position for Aaron Rodgers and the offense. Labeling him as a start in the Week 11 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em has a lot to do with the matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals have been very bad against the fantasy football TE position this season, to say the least. On the season, Cincinnati is giving up 15 points per game to opposing tight ends. Those numbers include 722 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns by the tight end position this season. Freiermuth also put up a big week against the Bengals in the last matchup between the teams, recording 111 yards and two touchdowns.

Sit: Sam LaPorta Fantasy Outlook vs Philadelphia Eagles
As has been the case with Sam LaPorta over the past season and a half, he continues to be one of the most inconsistent players in fantasy football. With Dan Campbell taking over the play-calling duties, it was apparent that he wanted to get Jameson Williams involved. That hurt LaPorta, as the Iowa alum only saw five targets. In an offense with Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Williams, it seems like LaPorta is the fourth option, at best. The issue with that is I am not sure how much time Jared Goff has to throw in this game, as Philadelphia gets after the passer, which means LaPorta probably has to play more of a blocking role in this game.
Speaking of the Eagles, they have been excellent against the tight end position this season. They were able to shut down Luke Musgrave last week and will look do the same this week against LaPorta. On the season, Philadelphia is giving up just 3.3 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. That includes 284 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
Sit: David Njoku Fantasy Outlook vs Baltimore Ravens
Even though David Njoku saved his performance last week with a touchdown reception, he feels way too touchdown-dependent to really have trust in moving forward. During last week, Njoku received just two targets in a game where Dillon Gabriel threw the ball 32 times. There are just way too many uncertainties for him to really be considered for a big week. It seems obvious that Harold Fannin is the go-to target in this Browns tight end room. And in a game where the Ravens will win big, their defense has been a major bright spot lately.
The Ravens have been moving Kyle Hamilton all over the field, which works in Baltimore’s favor, as Hamilton is one of those hybrid safety and linebackers who actually match up well against athletic tight ends. On the season, the Ravens are giving up just six fantasy points per game to the tight end position. That includes 497 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns all season long.
