When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
At 6-7, 280 pounds, Landon Jackson is a moose. He has phenomenal size and length. Jackson works down the line of scrimmage well, disputing running lanes with his length and power. Despite being so big, he keeps a low pad level. If he can fully extend on the offensive lineman, he can easily shed him or create plenty of space. Jackson added 40 pounds of muscle at Arkansas. Once he fully adapts to his new frame, he should be able to control the line of scrimmage more consistently.
Weaknesses
Injuries. There’s no doubt that the biggest knock against Landon Jackson in the draft is his injury history. He already has two ACL injuries. Jackson is also not very twitchy or quick, and he doesn’t change direction as well as others. He’s also so big that his movements are sort of awkward at times.
