The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
When evaluating James Pearce, his quickness is the first thing that jumps off the page. While he does not possess the typical quality of being able to bend around the edge, the use of his hands to punch and slap makes up for that. His 6-5 frame allows him the length to keep offensive linemen’s hands off of him. While the bend needs to be worked on, Pearce’s balance allows him to keep his feet and pursue the backfield.
Weaknesses
As mentioned before, Pearce struggles to bend around the edge when using a speed rush. Once defenders’ hands get on Pearce, he often gets caught up and stuck. With his speed, Pearce can be beaten with quick moves, as he does not always break down in space.
