When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
At the Alabama Pro Day, Jalen Milroe ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash. The dude is fast. Not just fast for a quarterback, but fast. He can make defenders miss in the open field and be a true rushing threat from the quarterback position. Milroe features great arm strength as well, and he has a nice touch on his deep ball.
Weaknesses
Passing isn’t exactly Jalen Milroe’s strength. He doesn’t anticipate throws, and his decision-making is questionable. When under pressure, this is only made worse. Instead of making a decision under pressure (which can be questionable), he too often holds the ball and takes a sack. Milroe also doesn’t work through a play progression well and really start to break down if the first option isn’t open.

This Jalen Milroe draft projection is taken from a late-March mock draft on ESPN. In this mock, Matt Miller has him getting selected in the third round, 83rd overall, by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
