2025 NFL Combine Players to Watch Include Jaylin Noel

Whether you are an avid fantasy football player or just a regular NFL fan, the 2025 NFL Combine marks the unofficial start of the new NFL season. For prospects, this is a time to show teams what they can do and why they are worthy of being drafted. For fans, the NFL Combine allows us to sit back on our couch and judge every single misstep a player makes, while also being able to appreciate that some type of football is back on TV.

Not all players at the NFL Combine really need to be watched. Nevertheless, every year, fans’ eyes are glued to a few players whether for fantasy reasons or just for regular intrigue. A couple of years ago, Puka Nacua was a player who jumped off the screen at the Combine. Every year, players like Nacua are missed or are just overlooked.

Today, we will break down three exciting 2025 NFL Combine players for you to keep your eye on for the NFL Draft, including Jaylin Noel, Kyle Monangai and Seth Henigan.

Players to Keep Your Eye On At the Combine

Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State

Although the stats might not pop out as “instant impact,” Jaylin Noel is a guy to keep your eye on during this year’s combine. He has combined for 15 touchdowns over the last two seasons and posted just under 1,200 receiving yards this year. Noel was not only named to the Big 12’s First team, but he was also the Big 12’s Special Teams Player of the Year.

To say Noel is dynamic is an understatement. Much like some of the running backs previously listed, the presence of Luther Burden III, Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka among others in this class make it easy to forget about Noel. Either way, he is a playmaker who may fall further than he should in not only the 2025 NFL Draft but also your dynasty rookie drafts. Give him a look at the combine and I’d be shocked if you don’t fall in love with him.

Three 2025 NFL Combine Players to Watch

Seth Henigan, QB, Memphis

There aren’t many players who come out of college with four years of starting experience while still being young, but Seth Henigan is one of the rare examples. Henigan is just 21 years old but is a four-year start at the University of Memphis. This gives him a rare blend of experience and youth. While his record over his first two years at Memphis (13-11) is nothing special, he has been flying under the radar for really his whole college career.

In Henigan’s worst season, he threw for over 3,559 yards, 22 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and ran for 287 rushing yards. Hennigan has done a solid job of taking care of the ball his entire career, with a TD-INT ratio of 3.35. Henigan led the AAC in completions, attempts, yards and touchdowns in his junior year. Not only has he set the single-season record for Memphis in completions, attempts and completion percentage, but he has also set school career records in wins, completions, attempts, completion percentage, yards and touchdowns.

On top of his clear talent, he is a name dynasty fantasy football owners should get to know as well. If he looks good in Indianapolis, he could be drafted with the intent of making him a team’s backup quarterback. With time to develop and with how fickle injuries are, Henigan could find himself one play away from producing decent numbers for fantasy.

Kyle Monangai, RB, Rutgers

Just like with Jaylin Noel, Kyle Monangai is also getting overlooked due to the insane talent at the position in the 2025 NFL Draft. While Monangai certainly had even less exposure than Noel on the national stage, it’s important to remember his name anyway. Although it took him a few years to get the starting role, he has been sensational the past two seasons.

Over the past two years, Monangai has rushed for over 1,200 yards and averaged over five yards per carry each season. He has also combined for 22 total touchdowns over that same time. Most impressive is the fact that Monangai has done all of this at Rutgers. Isiah Pacheco had fewer yards and total touchdowns in his entire college career than Monangai has had in the last two seasons. If he measures up well at the 2025 NFL Combine, the comparisons of him to Pacheco will be deafening.
