If you’re reading this, congrats! You’ve made it far enough to be in the fantasy football playoffs to this point. That being said, you may be in need of some immediate roster help this week whether it be due to injury or teams changing workloads. Let’s take a look at three wide receivers you can start in Week 16 for your fantasy football playoffs matchup.

Week 16 Fantasy Playoffs Hidden Gems

    Jalen McMillan Fantasy Outlook (10%)

Jalen McMillan caught 5-of-6 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 40-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

McMillan seems to be hitting the “late-season rookie wide receiver breakout” phase. In Week 14, he finished as the WR8, recording 59 receiving yards on four receptions and finding the end zone twice. He followed that up in Week 15 with a WR18 finish, notching 75 yards and a touchdown on five catches. If you’re in the playoffs and searching for a late-season spark, McMillan could be the solution.

    Malik Washington Fantasy Outlook (1%)

Malik Washington led his team in receiving yards in Week 15, hauling in 5 of 6 targets for 52 yards during a 20-12 loss to the Houston Texans. This performance came after the Dolphins parted ways with Odell Beckham Jr., creating additional opportunities for Washington in the passing game.

With OBJ gone and Jaylen Waddle’s status uncertain, Washington is in a strong position to close out the season with solid production. For managers in deep leagues looking for upside, Washington is a name to watch once waivers clear. Monitor Waddle’s availability closely, as it could impact Washington’s role.

    Christian Watson Fantasy Outlook (58%)

Christian Watson emerged as the Packers’ top target in their Sunday night win over the Seattle Seahawks, finishing with 6 receptions on 3 targets for 56 yards. Watson dominated the air yards with 53% (94 yards) and accounted for 23% of the team’s target share.

Over the last seven games, Watson has led the Packers in targets (37), air yards (687), and receiving yards (463) despite a zero-catch performance in Week 12. While he hasn’t found the end zone during this stretch, a change in touchdown fortune could make Watson a must-start option for WR-needy fantasy rosters in the final weeks of the season.
