NFL Power Rankings Week 11: How Many Teams Are Good?

We all hoped Thursday Night Football was a sign of things to come for the NFL week, but it was all downhill from there. In all actuality, we got the good football out of the way quickly, then we had to watch the rest of the sloppy mess around the league on Sunday and Monday. If I could drop basically everyone in the Week 11 NFL Power Rankings, I would.

Our weekly NFL Power Rankings will be released here on FlurrySports every Tuesday, so make sure to check them out every single week to see which direction your team is trending.

NFL Power Rankings For Week 11

1) Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week: 1)

People keep asking how the NFL keeps rigging the Kansas City Chiefs to win. However, they continue to win because they focus on all three phases of the game. No, this wasn’t the Chiefs’ best effort, but they won the game on a blocked field goal thanks to a Broncos lineman who had no idea where he was.

2) Detroit Lions (2)

The Detroit Lions played as poorly as they could in the first half of the game, and Jared Goff didn’t improve much after that. However, the team overcame his five interceptions to knock off a Houston Texans team that is talented, but they are playing terrible football. The great teams find a way to win on bad days, and that’s what the Chiefs and Lions did. That’s why they are the top two in the Week 11 NFL Power Rankings.

3) Baltimore Ravens (3)

The secondary continues to be suspect for the Baltimore Ravens. However, the defense makes enough plays, usually, and this Ravens’ offense is as good as it gets. As they incorporate Diontae Johnson, this team will become even more dangerous. They can do anything, making it impossible on opposing teams.

4) San Francisco 49ers (4)

The San Francisco 49ers came off of their bye week to win a close game against the Bucs. No, it shouldn’t have been this close, due to the missed field goals. Still, this is a team that typically finished drives in the end zone as well. Christian McCaffrey is back and looked pretty good, so we will see if this makes the Niners a true threat again.

5) Philadelphia Eagles (5)

It’s clear to everyone but their fans that the Philadephia Eagles are a good team. This Vic Fangio defense is getting more comfortable in the new scheme, and the offense has weapons all over. Even though they seem to not be taken seriously, there is no doubt that Philly is one of three NFC teams who could make a run.

6) Pittsburgh Steelers (8)

The Pittsburgh Steelers are for real! They added more talent to their defense, by trading for Preston Smith. On offense, Russell Wilson is playing good football, and George Pickens is one of the more underrated receivers in the NFL. If they can run the ball consistently, they should be viewed as one of the best teams in the league.

7) Buffalo Bills (6)

The game against the Indianapolis Colts was closer than it should’ve been, given how it started for Joe Flacco. Still, Buffalo got a solid win without two of their top pass catchers while another got hurt during the game. It’s the Bills, so they will lose in the playoffs, likely when the Chiefs or Ravens run it down their throat, but Buffalo is playing decently right now.

8) Houston Texans (7)

It appears that No. 8 on the NFL Power Rankings is where I start to take teams less seriously. The Houston Texans had a “player’s only” meeting, which everyone knows is a death sentence. The inability to handle stunts by opposing defensive lines is also a death sentence. The return of Nico Collins will cover up some issues, but the Texans need to be better. That should’ve easily beat the Lions after Jared Goff threw five picks.

9) Atlanta Falcons (9)

The Atlanta Falcons lost to the New Orleans Saints after New Orleans fired the head coach. As stated in these articles multiple times, the Falcons are a good team that desperately needs a pass rush. Without one, quarterbacks like Derek Carr are able to pass to players like Marquez Valdes-Scantling. If only Atlanta could’ve drafted an edge rusher in the first round or traded for one at the deadline. It will be the reason they lose in the playoffs.

10) Minnesota Vikings (10)

There aren’t 10 good teams in the NFL, but the Minnesota Vikings sneak into the top 10 by default. The defense is good enough to win games, as long as they stay healthy, and Sam Darnold is a decent quarterback, as long as he doesn’t see pressure. If he is pressured, then he will actively try to lose games for the Vikings.

11) Green Bay Packers (11)

12) Washington Commanders (12)

13) Seattle Seahawks (13)

14) Los Angeles Chargers (14)

15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (15)
