The third week of the NFL season is in the books! When it comes to the tight end position, fantasy football managers either aim for an elite tight end or look for fantasy football streamers on the waiver wire. Streaming a tight end each week can be a nightmare because the position is essentially a wasteland more often than not, aside from the usual top options. However, if you’ve taken this route this year, read on for three fantasy football Week 4 TE streamers that are worth your consideration.
Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 4 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.
Fantasy Football Week 4 TE Streamers
Tyler Conklin Fantasy Outlook at PIT (25.0%)
It’s hard to fathom that Tyler Conklin is the TE3 in fantasy football but is only rostered in a quarter of all ESPN leagues. He faces the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are usually solid against opposing tight ends, but his volume is simply too good to pass up here. It’s going to be two mediocre offenses facing off. While we don’t know how often Zach Wilson will target Conklin, it’s clear he is a big part of this offense.

Hayden Hurst Fantasy Outlook vs. MIA (22.6%)
After seeing plenty of volume through his first two games, Hayden Hurst quieted down last week. The Jets are good against tight ends, but the good news for Hurst is that the Miami Dolphins allow the seventh-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing tight ends. This is expected to be a high-scoring affair and, if the Dolphins offense can get rolling like it was in the fourth quarter of Week 2, the Bengals will be forced to throw and keep up. More throws from Joe Burrow equals more volume for his targets, Hurst included.
Robert Tonyan Fantasy Outlook vs. NE (17.3%)
Robert Tonyan isn’t a pretty fantasy football Week 4 streamers option simply because he hasn’t done enough and the Green Bay Packers offense is banged up early. With receivers injured left and right, Aaron Rodgers has limited weapons, but one familiar face he has chemistry with is Tonyan. He caught six of his seven targets last week and now has seen a total of 14 targets in three games. New England allows the fourth-most FPPG to opposing tight ends.
