UFC Fight Night, or UFC Vegas 49, from Saturday, February 26th was an exciting fight card. The main card had it all, with fights going to decision, a submission and a couple of knockouts. It was capped off with the Main Event between Islam Makhachev and Bobby Green. After winning by knockout, many have been asking how much did Islam Makhachev make? Let’s take a look at the full UFC payouts from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night.

UFC Fight Night Payouts and Win Bonuses

The official UFC Fight Night payouts are not released, since the Nevada Athletic Commission doesn’t release figher pay info. In other words, the following numbers are not official. However, we can make an accurate estimation based on past UFC payouts and other information we know about the fighters.

The pay below includes the guaranteed amount and fight week incentives in one column, then win bonuses in the other. Other UFC Vegas 49 payout bonuses are outlined below.

    FIGHTERGUARANTEEDWIN BONUS
    Islam Makhachev$110,000X
    Bobby Green$80,000
    Misha Cirkunov$70,000
    Wellington Turman$45,000X
    Ji Yeon Kim$35,000
    Priscila Cachoeira$35,000X
    Arman Tsarukyan$55,000X
    Joel Alvarez$30,000
    Armen Petrosyan$22,000X
    Gregory Rodrigues$25,000
    Zhu Rong$25,000
    Ignacio Bahamondes$35,000X
    Josiane Nunes$22,000X
    Ramona Pascual$16,000
    Terrance McKinney$24,000X
    Fares Ziam$30,000
    Alejandro Pérez$55,000
    Jonathan Martinez$45,000X
    Ramiz Brahimaj$25,000X
    Micheal Gillmore$25,000
    Victor Altamirano$16,000
    Carlos Hernández$16,000X

    UFC Fight Night Bonuses

Much like other events, UFC bonuses of $50,000 are given out. Both fighters in the Fight of the Night get a greater UFC payout, as do two fighters that get a Performance of the Night bonus.

Fight of the Night: Ji Yeon Kim vs Priscila Cachoeira

This was the right move by the UFC giving this women’s flyweight fight the bonus. It was a firefight between these two women, with 279 total strikes landed. In the end, it was Priscila Cachoeira that won by unanimous decision.

However, not only did many have an issue with her winning by unanimous decision, the commentators, analysts and others believe Ji Yeon Kim deserved to be named the winner. In fact, after the third round was over, Cachoeira was +800 in the odds to win, and she did in a unanimous fashion. When it’s also said and done, both women get $50,000 bonuses, which was well deserved.

Performance Bonuses: Arman Tsarukyan, Wellington Turman

Arman Tsarukyan gets the first performance bonus, and for good reason. He was in control from start to finish. Many believed the fight would be called after the first round, with Alvarez suffering a massive cut. However, the fight went on, as Tsarukyan continued to control his opponent and pound on him, winning by knockout in the second round.

Cirkunov was winning the fight in the second round, with Wellington Turman on his back once again. However, Turman swung his legs up and locked in a deep armbar. This immediately ended the fight in an impressive fashion.

How Much Did Islam Makhachev Make?

In the main event of the night, Islam Makhachev wasted no time. He was aggressive early, getting Green on his back in only a couple of minutes. Islam showed just how dangerous he is on the mat. He worked himself into a full mount, finishing the fight by first-round knockout. With a statement win like that, it makes sense why people are asking how much did Islam Makhachev make from his UFC payouts on Saturday.

The official answer is unclear. Since the Nevada Athletic Commission doesn’t release fighter pay info, we can only estimate based on past pay that has been publicized.

With this in mind, we can estimate Islam Makhachev made around $100,000 in guaranteed salary plus fight week incentives before stepping in the octagon. Because he won, his UFC payouts nearly doubled by doubling his guaranteed money as a win bonus.

Again, as always, the official numbers will not be officially known, but these UFC payouts from UFC Fight Night on Saturday are a strong estimation.
