Trey Lance Highlights
Trey Lance Draft Profile
Strengths
Trey Lance has a monster arm. He has the arm strength to put the ball anywhere. It’s the reason why he attacks downfield often, with an 11.5-yards average depth of target. Lance also consistently makes the right decision, shown by his zero interceptions during the 2019 season, which was the last time we saw him play. Lastly, Lance is an athletic freak. He looks like a tight end, but he has a rocket arm with legs that make him a weapon on the ground.
Weaknesses
Lance rarely made anticipatory throws, which is why he didn’t turn the ball over. He waited for his receivers to be open, or he knew he has the legs to move the chains. While his arm strength is tremendous, his accuracy is not. Lance also does not have the pure throwing motion than NFL teams look for early in the first round, typically.
