The NFL has released the 2021 schedule opponents and locations for each team last week. Based on 2020 records, the Pittsburgh Steelers schedule ranks as the toughest in the league.
With an opponent’s record of 143-111-2, the reigning AFC North champs will have their work cut out for them. Interestingly, the Steelers had the league’s second-easiest schedule going into last season. This year, they will be taking on the NFC North and the AFC West, along with the AFC’s other division winners from last year.
Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule of 2021 Opponents
Home: Ravens, Browns, Bengals, Broncos, Raiders, Bears, Lions, Titans.
Away: Ravens, Bills, Bengals, Browns, Packers, Chiefs, Chargers, Vikings.
Of the 16 games, nine will be against playoff teams from last year, including three of the four conference championship contenders. They will play every single AFC playoff team, aside from the Indianapolis Colts.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has never suffered a losing season in Pittsburgh, but depending on what moves are and are not made in the offseason, Pittsburgh could have an unforgiving season ahead.
