If you have a little uncertainty at the quarterback position, you may need to search the waivers to see who is available for a plug and play. These are the top Week 8 fantasy football streamers at quarterback that may be available for a pickup.
Week 8 Fantasy Football Streamers at QB
Derek Carr, LV (at CLE)
Derek Carr is quietly playing really good football. The Raiders worked hard to provide Carr with weapons this season and it’s showing. Since Week 2, Carr has multiple touchdown passes in every game. Henry Ruggs seriously opens up the offense with his speed. Nelson Agholor has caught a touchdown pass in three straight games. Darren Waller is making an argument that he belongs in the top tier of tight ends. This offense continues to impress me.
Now, they play the Cleveland Browns, who have given up over 30 points in five of seven games and are generous to the quarterback position. They just allowed Joe Burrow to throw for over 400 yards and three touchdowns. I think the Raiders bounce back this week after a tough loss to the Buccaneers and Carr has a great game throwing to his new and improved weapons.
Joe Burrow, CIN (vs TEN)
Have people not caught onto Joe Burrow yet? He is playing outstanding as a rookie, totaling over 300 yards in five of seven games, including a 400-yard performance against the Browns last week. The rookie record for 300+ yard passing games is six, held by Andrew Luck. If Burrow throws 300 yards next week, he will already tie that record. He has the most passing attempts in the league. A.J. Green has looked good for two consecutive weeks now, and Tee Higgins is making the case that he’s the best receiver in this loaded rookie class. The Bengals offense is cooking. Their future is bright and Burrow is a top streamer at the quarterback position for Week 8 fantasy football.

Teddy Bridgewater, CAR (vs ATL)
Joe Burrow and Teddy Bridgewater both came through for this article last week, and I’m riding with both again. I continue to like what I’m seeing from this new Carolina Panthers offense. If I trusted Bridgewater against the Saints last week, you can bet I’m going to trust him against the much weaker divisional foe. The Atlanta Falcons are dead last in points given up to the quarterback position. These two teams faced off three weeks ago. Bridgewater completed 75% of his passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns in that game. I usually don’t like trusting Thursday night games, because teams have less time to prepare, but at least the Falcons are the ones traveling for this one. DJ Moore has showed up in a big way the last two weeks, and Robby Anderson continues to look amazing. Bridgewater should have your trust as a streamer in this one.
