Whether it be due to injuries or the four teams on bye, you likely are looking for Week 6 fantasy football streamers at some position. Many of the league’s top wide receivers are off this week, with the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins all on bye. You probably aren’t relying on the Dolphins much, but the Bengals, Vikings and Lions all have some real studs, creating headaches for you this week.
I highlighted many of my top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 6 in another article, but they aren’t necessarily the best streaming candidates for Week 6. Below, I will cover the top fantasy football streamers for you to consider this week, with the best option listed for each position.

Fantasy Football Streamers For Week 6
Jameis Winston, Giants vs NO (4% owned) | Fantasy Football QB Streamers
I feel like people aren’t giving Jameis Winston his flowers for last week’s performance. He completed 33/54 passes for 326 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers. Winston continues to get better and better with each week he gets the starter reps. This week, he gets a great matchup against his former team — the New Orleans Saints. Side note: you can track Revenge Games here on the FlurrySports Playbook!
The Saints are allowing the seventh-most yards per play (5.7) and the second-most points per play (0.48). The Giants will be able to move the ball on New Orleans, and Winston will continue to pepper Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely with targets.
If you have been starting Patrick Mahomes, Jared Goff, or a crappy player like Justin Herbert, Jameis Winston should be at the top of your fantasy football streamers for Week 6.
Other Fantasy Football QB Streamers to Consider:
- Aaron Rodgers, PIT
- Kirk Cousins, LV
- CJ Stroud, HOU
MarShawn Lloyd, Packers vs DAL (48.7%)
It was a terrible start to the season for MarShawn Lloyd and the Green Bay Packers offense. And while the running game still isn’t lighting the world on fire, they are at least moving the ball more efficiently after signing three new starters on the offensive line.
Two weeks ago, Lloyd’s fantasy day was propelled by five receptions for 36 yards. Last week, he ran for 31 yards and two touchdowns. Now, he sees a great matchup against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed over 20 fantasy points to RBs in all but one game this season. They also allow the fourth-most yards per rush attempt (5.1) as well as the fourth-most red zone trips per game (4.2).
Over the past three weeks, MarShawn Lloyd has dominated red zone carries, seeing 8-of-13 attempts. This gives him a great opportunity to score this week. That’s as much as you can ask for when considering fantasy football streamers at the RB position.
Other Fantasy Football RB Streamers to Consider:
- Woody Marks, HOU
- Dameon Pierce, PHI
- Tyjae Spears, TEN
Germie Bernard, Steelers at TB (3%)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been pretty solid defensively this season. However, getting torched by the Dallas Cowboys last week really hurt their average points allowed to WRs (No. 14 in the NFL). Regardless, if Aaron Rodgers continues to play as well as he has been (three touchdowns in three straight weeks), then there is no doubt that rookie Germie Bernard will reap the benefits.
Both Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson will be out for the Steelers, and it will be tough to run against Tampa’s stout defensive front. As a result, the Steelers will have to pass, and Bernard ranks second on the depth chart, behind DK Metcalf.
With an expanded role last week, Bernard turned a team-high nine targets into six receptions for 80 yards. Germie Bernard could see a similar target share this week, so the rookie is a solid streaming option.
Other Fantasy Football WR Streamers to Consider:
- Dontayvion Wicks, PHI
- DeMario Douglas, NE
- Kendrick Bourne, ARI
Tyler Higbee, Rams vs ARI (3.1%)
Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay love using the tight end in the receiving game, and with Terrance Ferguson out of the lineup, Tyler Higbee is the clear top receiving option at the position. Defenses have been completely losing Higbee downfield. When you see that Puka Nacua and Davante Adams also have to be accounted for, you can see why Higbee is an afterthought. However, he is making defenses pay.
Higbee has totaled at least five receptions and over 60 yards in each of the past three weeks. In PPR scoring, he has totaled 45.2 fantasy points during this span, ranking as TE6. Stafford will continue to target Higbee heavily in a solid matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Arizona has allowed over 20 fantasy points to TEs in each of the past three weeks.
I am writing this before Tyler Higbee plays on Monday Night Football. However, as long as he doesn’t get injured, he will be a great fantasy football waiver wire pickup ahead of a solid matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.
Higbee has benefited from the injuries to the rest of the Rams’ tight end room. While they are getting healthier, second-year TE Terrance Ferguson, who is the best receiving threat of the bunch, is currently on IR. That means Higbee will get plenty of run against Arizona, who has given up over 20 fantasy points to TEs in each of the past three weeks.
Other Fantasy Football TE Streamers to Consider:
- Pat Freiermuth, PIT
- Brenton Strange, JAX
- Chig Okonkwo, WAS
Kansas City Chiefs Defense vs LAC (33.5%)
It is a popular strategy to play the best matchup every week with your starting fantasy defense instead of picking one team and rolling with them. So, if fantasy football streamers at DST is your strategy, or you want to pick up a great team this week, there is no doubt the Kansas City Chiefs are your best option.
We all know how good Andy Reid is after a bye week, with a 22-5 record in his career. The stars are really aligning for the Chiefs’ D/ST this week. Not only did they have a week off to get healthy and to plan, but they also get to face a winless Los Angeles Chargers team. Oh, and the game is at Arrowhead.
Many people dropped them since they were off last week. If someone in your league was foolish enough to do that, go get them now. Check out the FlurrySports Playbook to see where they rank in my waiver wire rankings!
