Keldric Faulk Scouting Report
Strengths
Despite being a younger prospect, Kendric Faulk was an accountability leader on the Auburn football team. While he won’t be that as a rookie, he appears to be a high-character player who makes your team better on the field, in the locker room, and in the community.
As for him as a player, Faulk is one big dude. He’s long and is still filling into his frame. But once he does, he will have a scary presence on the defensive front, and he will be able to line up in multiple positions. He plays the run well and is disciplined on the edge. His hands are precise and sudden, and he uses them well to create space and get past his man. Faulk gets after the quarterback with great pursuit, and he would be a very useful player for teams facing passers who like to get outside the pocket.
Weaknesses
Faulk is a very tall, long player. The downside to that is that he plays too tall very often and lets blockers get under his pads. His get-off and hands both lack explosion and violence. He also needs to play more like an alpha. He does not command the line of scrimmage. If he faces a physical offensive linemen, simply put, they will try to make him look like a bitch.
