There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.
Caleb Banks Scouting Report
Strengths
Caleb Banks’ build is terrific for the position. His big body and long limbs allow him to win fights in the trenches. He has the strength to press everyone off of him, and his long arms ensure linemen struggle to get to his body. Banks’ quick first step and heavy hands also give him an advantage off the line of scrimmage.
He has all of the physical tools to be an outstanding player in the NFL. Now, he just needs a good coach.
Weaknesses
A foot injury limited Banks to only three games, but before his injury, he was playing more slowly than in his previous season. He will have to be much better coming off of this season-ending injury. His conditioning will have to be better, too, which is already a concern when coming off an injury anyway.
Overall, there is no polish to his game. Outside of his physical tools, his skills need to be learned. His hands are sloppy, he plays too high too often, and he doesn’t have many pass-rush moves.
