The Denver Broncos started out hot in their first three games. Those games were played against teams who only won 11 games all season, though. The Broncos went on to lose 10 of their last 14 games, including their last four. Vic Fangio is out as the head coach and in his place comes Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett might come in handy when it comes to helping the Broncos starting this offseason.
Here are three things the Denver Broncos must address during the 2022 NFL Offseason if they want to get back to the playoffs.
3 Things the Denver Broncos Must Address in the 2022 NFL Offseason
1. Get a QB
The Denver Broncos failed with Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater last year. They had an amazing defense last year that went to waste because the offense got stifled. The QB market is open this year with Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garapolo looking for new teams. There is also the possibility of drafting a QB like Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis. The Broncos could become playoff contenders just by getting a QB.
2. Use the Draft Capital
The Broncos have five picks in the first three rounds of the upcoming Draft. They could work on the offensive line or replace Von Miller with those picks. Maybe use those picks to trade up and get a better player. The choices are open for Denver.
3. Bring in Davante Adams
The cap space is there for the Denver Broncos to reunite Davante Adams and Nathaniel Hackett. $38 million to play with to make the team better why not do it? That would make getting Aaron Rodgers so much easier and the Broncos become a threat to the rest of the AFC. Adams won’t be cheap and will take up a lot of the cap space that the Broncos have, but it would be absolutely worth it.
