3 Things the Baltimore Ravens Must Address in the 2022 NFL Offseason

1. Wrap the Whole Team in Bubble Wrap

The team seemed to have a major injury at every position during the season. JK Dobbins went down before the season even started. Lamar Jackson missed five games due to illness and injuries. The defense had plenty of missed games too. The Baltimore Ravens would have had a better record if they did not have this many injuries throughout the year. Next season, they should be back in the hunt as long as they are back to full health.

2. Use the Draft Capital

The Baltimore Ravens have nine picks in the first four rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft. Five of them come in the fourth round, but still, they need some depth. After the season the Ravens had, they need to find some players for some depth in case they find themselves getting injured again. They could also trade some of those picks and trade up in the draft. The Ravens have some options to the draft and either way they really can’t go wrong.

3. Fix the Passing Defense

The Baltimore Ravens ranked 32nd in the NFL in passing defense. That is a big reason why they did not make the postseason. They need some DB help, but they don’t have a lot of cap space to use. Just over $8 million in the cap. The Ravens could restructure some contracts and gain some more space. Watch Baltimore try to make some moves to help the defense out. Of course, getting healthy will help the secondary as well.
