3 Possible Dwayne Haskins Trade Destinations

The Washington Football Team has been pleasantly surprising to watch this season, with their strong defense and kind-of-electric offensive plays. However, they are sitting at 2-5 in the NFC East, so there won’t be any playoff runs coming anytime soon. They are back into rebuild mode, and their first step is pulling of a Dwayne Haskins trade before the NFL trade deadline.

Despite being a first-round pick just one year ago, Washington moved on quite fast and have given Kyle Allen starting duties the past few games. Haskins hasn’t been great in the games he’s started thus far, but Washington could still get something in return. He has one season under his belt, and there are teams that need a quarterback.

With that being said, here are the top Dwayne Haskins trade destinations ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

Dwayne Haskins Trade Destinations | NFL Trade Deadline

Dallas Cowboys

This is the most obvious one as the only quarterbacks on the Cowboys roster are Ben DiNucci and a concussed Andy Dalton. The Cowboys could send away a late-round pick to Washington and use Haskins to make a late push as the NFC East is up for grabs still through eight weeks. The talent is there on the offense and we all know Haskins isn’t afraid of throwing the ball.

Chicago Bears

Nick Foles has been underwhelming to say the least and it doesn’t get much better as the backup quarterback is Mitch Trubisky. The Bears defense is so strong this season and have shut down most offenses thus far and all they need is a quarterback to get things moving on the offense. They are still 5-3 and have a shot to compete for division winner or a wildcard spot.

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are an absolute dumpster fire of an organization right now as they’ve given up multiple leads this season. At 2-6, it’s clear the playoff chances are quite far away, so they should begin a rebuild mode, and start that by trading away Matt Ryan for draft assets. Haskins can make do for the rest of the season and if he doesn’t perform, it won’t matter because they’ll be rebuilding.
