Due to injury on the Carolina Panthers offense, Curtis Samuel was thrust into a larger role than the team had expected this season. He thrived with increased opportunity. The fourth-year receiver totaled over 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the first time in his career. He also found the end zone five times. Samuel is a young, talented, versatile option in NFL Free Agency that will likely be a hot commodity.

With a number of teams needing his services, these are the three most likely Curtis Samuel free agent destinations.

3 Possible Curtis Samuel Free Agent Destinations

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts have a lot of money to spend and a roster ready to compete for a Super Bowl. Arguably, their biggest weakness is at wide receiver. They only have Michael Pittman Jr. returning as a legitimate option right now. If they re-sign T.Y. Hilton, Samuel would still be a great addition to work the short to intermediate routes.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are another team with money and a big need at wide receiver. Whether it’s Tua Tagovailoa or someone else throwing passes for the Dolphins next season, they need to get their quarterback some receiving options. Signing Samuel and another established free agent would go a long way in making this offense one that needs to be respected in the AFC.

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have the money to spend on Samuel and it’s clear that he was a big part of their game plan this past season. There is a decent chance that he is back, catching passes from whoever they decide to be their starting quarterback. Given what they are building in Matt Rhule’s system, Samuel’s versatility will be needed.

Curtis Samuel Stats

As stated previously, the wide receiver was a versatile weapon for the Panthers in 2020. These Curtis Samuel stats from the past season shows this as well.
