3 Most Likely Corey Davis Free Agent Destinations

Wide receiver Corey Davis was silenced in the Tennessee Titans’ playoff game. However, this was one of the few blemishes on an otherwise terrific season, which came at the perfect time. With his contract expiring, Davis will test free agency.

Davis enjoyed his first true season of his career as a no. 2 receiver, totaling career highs in yards (984) and touchdowns (5). He certainly helped out his asking price this offseason.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers whiffed at wide receiver last free agency and completely passed on the position in the draft. They are still in need of a consistent second option behind Davante Adams, and Davis would fill this role nicely. He also has some experience with Matt LaFleur from his brief time with the Titans. Davis would again get to thrive as the second receiving option on a terrific offense. However, this time he would be second to the best wide receiver in the NFL.

New England Patriots

When discussing landing spots for free agents this offseason, the New England Patriots will be a popular destination for many reasons. They are proven winners, have many holes to fill and New England has the money to fill them. The Patriots seem incapable of evaluating wide receiver talent, so maybe they bring in Davis, who is still young and has proven to be talented at the NFL level.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans seem like a great organization to play for. They have a strong culture, a talented head coach and they are able to invest money in different positions since Ryan Tannehill is not grossly overpaid. While it’s not exciting for outside fans to see a player return to the same team, it has proven to be a good fit. The Titans free agency is overall expected to be a headache, but this re-signing would start them in the right direction.
