The NFL Draft is always an exciting time of year, for many reasons. Despite a string of disappointing seasons, the unveiling of the yearly draft hats always brings hype. But, as stated, it has been followed by disappointment more often than not. This may be changing for the 2024 NFL Draft hats, though!
In the past, it felt like they were trying to do too much on the hats, making them too busy, strange-looking and sloppy. However, for the 2024 hats, New Era has taken a more simple approach. The front is a raised, embroidered team logo with a shadow. The side has a patch that is representative of the city/team. Below, we will rank the 2024 NFL Draft hats from worst to first, then link to where you can purchase your team gear ahead of the draft on April 25th!

2024 NFL Draft Hats Ranked Worst to First!
Below, we are ranking all of the 2024 NFL Draft hats from worst to first. We will be looking at the fitted flat bill hat for each team. The draft collection also features graphite and flex bill options.
Disqualified
Let’s get the bad news out of the way. The Houston Texans and New York Jets are disqualified. Their team hats are not public yet, and I’m too impatient to wait. These hats are likely waiting to be released due to new uniforms or a new logo being unveiled.
Garbage | NFL Draft Hats
New Orleans Saints
This is the worst of them all. The state looks like it’s melting, just saying “Saints” on the side is lame, and the logo on the front looks weird because of the layering.
Indianapolis Colts
The logo on the front is the worst of all the teams. It looks like it’s falling off. The saying “for the shoe” on the side is cool, but you should only use a flag to fill in a basic state if it’s not super boring.
Baltimore Ravens
Typically, Ravens gear is pretty cool. However, we’re not overlooking the saying “play like a Raven.” This only somewhat works if you are the Super Bowl champion. When you’re not winning rings, maybe you should put “play like the Chiefs” on the side.
Seattle Seahawks
We should put our most famous chant on the side: “Sea! Hawks!”
Denver Broncos
Again, bad flag in the state. Russell Wilson also ruined “Broncos Country,” so come up with something new.
Washington Commanders
Established 1932? Either put the offensive logo or have multiple years for every bad logo/name change.
Dallas Cowboys
The star looks terrible when it’s layered so many times. The “America’s Team” slogan is also still lame. You were the second choice for this label. The American flag in the state also looks bad.
Los Angeles Chargers
The side may be the worst of all the teams. It’s ugly and we don’t need you to remind us how long you’ve been bad.
Carolina Panthers
There’s too much happening here, and I don’t think you’re allowed to claim two states. Are you not proud of North Carolina?
Meh | NFL Draft Hats
There’s not much to say about these 2024 NFL Draft hats. I could see why you like them if you do. For me, they’re just “meh.”

Like above, there isn’t much to say about this section of 2024 NFL Draft hats. Overall, the side design seems to be a bit better with this group than the previous one. I wouldn’t judge you if I saw you rocking these hats.

God Tier | NFL Draft Hats
The two best 2024 NFL Draft hats are from two fanbases that may be very disappointed in their teams this season — the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings.
New England Patriots
This Patriots draft hat is awesome. I love the throwback logo on the side. We were saying on The Ranking Show that it would’ve been cool to see all teams do the throwback logo. The only thing lowering the Patriots here is the “forever New England” saying.
Minnesota Vikings
Without a doubt, the Vikings draft hat is the best. They went purple when nobody else did, which makes it unique. The front logo is designed well and works with the colors. Then, what puts it over the top, is the side design. The subtle state outline and a Viking ship are awesome, and the “Skol Vikings” saying works without being lame.
