    2019 Bills Stats

    Total Offense: 5,283 yards (24th)

    Offensive Touchdowns: 34 (24th)

Offensive Plays Per Game: 64.6 (10th)

    Pass Attempts + Sacks: 553 (23rd)

    Rush Attempts: 465 (6th)

    Run/Pass Split: Run 46% | Pass 54%

    Unaccounted for Targets: 35

    Unaccounted for Carries: 172

    Projected Win Total

The Bills’ over/under currently sits at 8.5, after they went 10-6 last season. With the addition of receiver Stefon Diggs, they should finally have themselves a reliable number one option at receiver. The Jets and Dolphins are still a few years out from being much of a problem for them in divisional play. With a loaded schedule, where they will need to face the AFC and NFC West out of divisional play, the Bills will need to show they can win the big games consistently in order to hit their win projection.

    Bills Fantasy Strength of Schedule

SOS is measured by calculating the fantasy points allowed by each team’s opponents to determine who has the easiest and most difficult fantasy schedules (rank #1 has the easiest schedule).

    Bills Fantasy Passing Game

    QB: Josh Allen, Matt Barkley

    WR: Stefon Diggs, Isaiah McKenzie

    WR: John Brown, Duke Williams

    WR: Cole Beasley, Andre Roberts

    TE: Dawson Knox, Tyler Kroft

There is potential in the passing attack for Buffalo. They have plenty of speed, with Stefon Diggs, John Brown and a sure-handed target in Cole Beasley. Dawson Knox and Tyler Kroft have shown their abilities as pass catchers too. The only possible problems for them will be depth and consistency from quarterback Josh Allen. If one or two of Buffalo’s top receivers are out for any period of time, they don’t have much talent in the depth chart to take their place. Diggs, Beasley and Brown are all receivers that should be rostered, but Diggs is the only one that could be a consistent starter.

The Bills will also have to rely on an incredibly inconsistent Allen. At times last year, Allen looked like a great franchise quarterback for years to come. His arm strength is elite and, when he can control it, is one of the best deep throwers in the league. However, he often overthrows receivers and is also plagued by inconsistent play and decision making. With a gauntlet of a schedule this year, they need a reliable Allen to get anywhere of substance. If he can start to turn his flashes of brilliance into consistent play, Allen could easily be a top ten quarterback this season.

    Bills Fantasy Running Game

RB: Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, T.J. Yeldon

    2019 OL Run Rank: T-14th

This could be the year of Devin Singletary. He was an absolute monster when utilized last year, with 5.5 yards per carry and 29 receptions. While he only had four total touchdowns, a lot of that was because of the 50/50 split he had with Frank Gore. With Gore out of Buffalo this season, Singletary gets the first crack at the carries and should hold down this position, as long as fumbling doesn’t become an issue. With Allen’s inconsistencies, I expect Buffalo to utilize Singletary as a pass catching back as well. For this reason, Singletary is a running back flying under the radar right now who should turn out to be a solid option at the RB2 or flex spot.

Zack Moss is a solid handcuff option, but he has a role outside of that. In games where Buffalo gets up early and can milk the clock, look for Moss to be more involved. If it is a competitive, game, Singletary should see the majority of the snaps.
