1. Baker Mayfield Benched

The Steelers took it to the Browns, beating them 38-7. Baker Mayfield tossed two picks before being pulled at the end of the third quarter. He completed just 55 percent of his passes and threw one touchdown. His performance is leading many to ask if he has progressed since coming into the NFL. The Steelers rode their ground game to win this game, as they had three rushing touchdowns.

2. Eagles Fly Back Against the Ravens Falls Short

The Ravens were up by 17 at the half, but the game came down to a two-point conversion. The Eagles had a phenomenal second half, highlighted by multiple big plays. The Ravens killed themselves with penalties. The offensive line was penalized eight times, as the Ravens lost 132 yards in accepted penalties.

3. The Titans Remain Undefeated

The Texans were down by 14 points multiple times. They kept on coming back and took a touchdown lead with under two minutes to go. The Titans tied the game up with four seconds left. After the Titans won the overtime coin toss, they continued their offensive success. Then, Derrick Henry ran the ball into the end zone to end the game for his second touchdown of the day. Henry totaled 264 total yards in the game. The Titans put up 42 points in the win, despite losing the turnover battle by two.

4. Giants Get Their First Win

Kyle Allen led the Washington Football Team into the end zone, on what looked like a game-tying drive with under a minute to go. Down one, Ron Rivera chose to go for two and either win or lose. The conversion failed and the Giants notched their first win of the year.

5. Rodgers Falls Flat

Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers. A marquee matchup…until the game started. The Buccaneers won, 38-10. Tampa wasn’t penalized once in the game. Rodgers tossed two interceptions in the second quarter, which allowed Tampa Bay to pull away to a dominant victory.

6. Patriots Fall to 2-3

The Broncos came into Foxborough and won without Peyton Manning. Drew Lock tossed two interceptions and no touchdowns, but Cam Newton did the same. Bill Belichick attributed the loss to the COVID outbreak on the Patriots, which has greatly reduced their practice time.

7. Colts Come Back To Beat the Bengals

The Bengals were up on the Colts 21-0, then Philip Rivers brought the Colts back. Rivers tossed three touchdowns and one interception, totaling 371 yards. His counterpart, Joe Burrow, hit the 300-yard mark as well, but the Bengals touchdowns all came on the ground.

8. Lions Win Big on the Road

The Lions easily beat the Jaguars. Detroit had three rushing touchdowns, including one from Adrian Peterson. Both Gardner Minshew and Matt Stafford threw a touchdown and an interception, but the Lions ground game is what won the game for Detroit. They put up 180 yards on the ground, while holding the Jaguars to just 44 yards.

9. Shutout!!!

Dolphins pitched the first shutout in the 2020 season, beating the Jets, 24-0. Analysts around the league continue to ponder how soon Adam Gase will be fired. At the end of the game, we got to see Tua Tagovailoa take the field and go 2/2 passing to close out the victory. The Jets are now the only winless team in the NFL.

10. Jimmy G Refinds his Groove

The 49ers bested their division rival Rams, mainly due to Jimmy Garoppolo. The Niners quarterback, who was benched in their previous game against the Dolphins, delivered three touchdown passes while not turning over the ball. Neither team recorded a sack, and there was only three tackles for a loss. Jared Goff did toss an interception to go with his two touchdowns.
