Zach Wilson Highlights

Zach Wilson Draft Profile

Strengths

Zach Wilson is Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes-like with his ability to throw off-platform and from a variety of different arm angles. He does this while still showing pinpoint accuracy. Again, much like the previous two MVPs, Wilson flicks the ball quickly. Wilson has great pocket awareness and blitz recognition, getting himself out of tight pressure extremely well.

Weaknesses

While Wilson does get himself out of pressure well, he wasn’t under pressure too much. This is due to having a great offensive line and poor opponents, so it’s tough to tell how he would perform under NFL pressure. Wilson also trusts his arm and puts too much stress on his arm, as he very rarely sets his feet, even though he has the time and space to do so.
