When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.
Xavier Restrepo Scouting Profile
Strengths
Nobody racks up two First-team All-ACC awards and is a consensus All-American for no reason. He used his quick feet and smooth routes to become a menace in the slot at the collegiate level. Restrepo has great instincts and does a fantastic job working back to the quarterback when pass plays break down. He does a great job at getting loose in routes, but his ability to shake defenders will be tested at the next level.
Weaknesses
As seen in his 4.83-second 40-yard dash time at his pro day, he lacks the size and speed to be a real threat at the NFL level. Clearly, Restrepo won’t have a role outside of the slot, which limits how teams can use him. While he is incredibly tough and smart, his short arms and lack of true competition faced in college will certainly catch up to him at some point.
