If you have a little uncertainty at the quarterback position, you may need to search the waivers to see who is available for a plug and play. These are the top Week 6 fantasy football streamers at quarterback that may be available for a pickup.
Week 6 Fantasy Football Streamers at QB
Ryan Fitzpatrick, MIA (vs NYJ)
Here are Ryan Fitzpatrick’s fantasy finishes at the quarterback position the last four weeks: QB2, QB12, QB6 and QB10. He is playing great football and he’s coming off of his best week of the season. Preston Williams looked explosive last week, going 4/106 with one touchdown. Williams only raises the ceiling for Fitzpatrick. And Fitzpatrick takes on the Jets this week. In case you didn’t notice, they are in shambles. They allowed Kyler Murray to throw for 380 passing yards last week, and Brett Rypien to throw for 242 yards the week before. Fitzpatrick feels too obvious as a top fantasy football streamer this week.
Kirk Cousins, MIN (vs ATL)
It was a rough start for the Vikings, but they have really turned it around the last couple weeks. They got a win against the Texans in Week 4 and almost upset the Seahawks in Week 5 on the road. The emergence of Justin Jefferson gives me much more confidence than I had in Cousins to start the season. Jefferson already has two games of over 100 yards. Adam Thielen has six touchdowns in five games. I think the Falcons are going to have a tough time guarding these two players, while trying to stop the Vikings run game. Robby Anderson and DJ Moore both had a great game against the Falcons last week, and we could see the same thing here from these two players, leading to a nice fantasy football streamer week for Cousins.
Andy Dalton, DAL (vs ARI)
I’m not going to tell you that Andy Dalton isn’t a big step down from Dak Prescott. Seeing Dak get hurt was brutal, but I was happy to see the love he got from all his teammates during the incident. This is about the Cowboys offense as a whole and the Cardinals defense. The Cowboys offense is currently ranked first in yards/game and third in points/game. Their receiving weapons are dangerous across the board. This game has a high 54.5 over/under. I’m confident that the Cardinals will put up points in this game against a reeling Cowboys defense, and Andy Dalton will have to do the same to keep the Cowboys in this. I think he will.
As a Cardinals fan, I’ve watched every game closely, and their defense looks shaky, despite looking decent in many defensive metrics. They looked fine against the Jets, but it was the Jets. They just lost their defensive leader and 3x Pro-Bowler, Chandler Jones, to a biceps injury. This is a good first matchup for Dalton to take over as the starter.
