Taking a look at the 2026 Winter Olympics Penis-Gate scandal, which has resulted in athletes being disqualified for this strange reason.
Usually, when the words “penis” and “Olympics” are used in the same sentence, we are talking about an Olympian hitting their junk on the high jump bar or discussing the spread of STDs in the Olympic Village. This time, however, we get to talk about a scandal that is going by the names “Crotchgate” or “Penis-Gate.”
Yes, even some athletes competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics require a bit of male enhancement as well, so you’re not alone. However, in this case, they are cheating to gain an edge over their competition. Let’s break down what the Winter Olympics Penis-Gate scandal is and which athletes were disqualified for pumping their junk.

Winter Olympics Penis-Gate Scandal Explained
A German newspaper named Bild wrote a story claiming some ski jumpers were injecting their penises with hyaluronic acid, per insider information. That description is both terrifying and intriguing, which really is what the Winter Olympics are all about. Case in point: women’s skeleton.
You see, ski jumpers wear skin-tight suits. They have mandatory body scans in order to determine the size of their suits under the guidelines of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The alleged scandal here, in essence, is that some ski jumpers are injecting their junk to make it larger for measurements, then they will have a larger suit. This gives them more surface area to catch the air while jumping, creating an aerodynamic flying squirrel effect. When we discuss the one percent of the one percent, which is what the Olympics is, even the slightest edge over the competition can make the difference between winning and losing.
What the Bard is alleging is that athletes are injecting the same substance used for lip and cheek fillers. This would add girth for measurements, then shrink in time for the competition. This does bring an interesting thought, though: could a team employ a “fluffer” for measurement day?
Who Pumped Their Junk? (Allegedly)
When the rumors of penis pumping in the Winter Olympics leaked, Team USA made it known that they were not participating in it. While all they said was they were not doing it and did not know anyone who was, what they should have said is that there is no enhancement needed over here in the United States, if you know what we mean.
So, who are the athletes or countries being accused of doing this? Well, that’s where the issue is. At least publicly, no ski jumper has been formally accused of using penis fillers. It feels like one would have to accuse someone to say this is happening, but it also could bring lawsuits and other backlash to say, “Hey, France is using penis enhancement to jump further. Show us your dick!”
As of now, it is a strange rumor, but it is one that was published in a German newspaper. If the author was just doing a guter streich (good prank), then it is sort of hilarious that they were able to get the committee spending hours staring at the crotches of their athletes, and they also should absolutely be fired.
Winter Olympics Ski Jumpers Disqualified
This penis-gate scandal is not the first ski jumping scandal of the Winter Olympics. Before the Olympic Games began, three team officials in Norway were recently banned for 18 months for manipulating their suits. “Enlarging the suit by 2 cm increased the lift and drag force by 5 percent and 4 percent, respectively,” wrote researchers of this study.
