Josh Allen ($8,100) and Stefon Diggs ($8,800) vs. Eagles | NFL DFS Picks
You’re going to have to pay up for both Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, but this is what we call a mismatch on paper. The Eagles have allowed nearly 300 passing yards per game across the last three games and are already allowing the second-most fantasy points (457.1) to opposing wide receivers this season.
Allen is coming off a three-touchdown performance where he finished with 23.5 DKFP. There’s no denying that Allen is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league and, in such a highly-anticipated game, I expect him to continue his strong play and look for Diggs often. Philadelphia has majorly struggled to cover opposing elite WR1s this season, allowing monster games for Tyreek Hill, Cooper Kupp and CeeDee Lamb, and that same trend should continue for Diggs, even after a few below-average performances.
Baker Mayfield ($5,500) and Mike Evans ($7,400) vs. Colts | NFL DFS Picks
I’ll be attacking both sides of this game, but let’s start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last week’s matchup against the Niners was rough for Baker Mayfield, as he totaled just 12.34 DKFP –– his lowest mark since Week 6 against the Lions. But when things aren’t going well, that doesn’t mean Mayfield doesn’t look Mike Evans‘ way often, as he still saw 13 targets and hauled in five of them for 43 yards and a touchdown.
The Indianapolis Colts don’t allow a ton of fantasy points to either quarterbacks or wide receivers but still have weaknesses in their secondary for Mayfield to exploit. Indianapolis has allowed eight touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season on top of allowing an average of 6.9 yards per pass attempt and a whopping 13.1 yards per reception. I’m not expecting either team to run away with the game and if the Colts can take advantage of the Buccaneers’ awful secondary, Mayfield will throw and look Evans’ way a ton.

Gardner Minshew ($5,100) and Michael Pittman Jr. ($6,800) vs. Buccaneers | NFL DFS Picks
Gardner Minshew has had a pretty rough stretch –– failing to eclipse 215 passing yards and totaling fewer fantasy points combined across the last three games than his monster 34.1 DKFP performance in Week 7. He hasn’t thrown many touchdown passes either (8) but despite the poor play, Michael Pittman Jr. has eclipsed 12 targets twice in that span and has produced just one single-digit fantasy performance this season.
Things should be much easier this time around for the Colts’ offense to get going against the Buccaneers’ defense. Tampa Bay has allowed a whopping 305 passing yards per game across the last three games and 11 total touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season. On top of that, its defense is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points (200.2) to opposing quarterbacks and the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers (401.2). The game script should be even throughout as well, making this a great game to target.
