Week 7 Fantasy Football Streamers at QB

Justin Herbert, LAC (vs JAX)

The last time we saw Justin Herbert, he impressed in primetime against the Saints to the tune of 20/34 with 264 yards and four touchdowns. He finished as the QB4 on the week. The week prior, against a stout Tampa Bay defense that just shut down the Packers, Herbert finished as the QB9. He’s not afraid to take shots downfield, which boosts his fantasy ceiling. Herbert completed a 64-yard touchdown pass to Mike Williams against the Saints. He also had two touchdowns of 50+ yards against the Bucs the week before.

Coming off the bye, he gets to take on the Jaguars. They are giving up the 26th most passing yards/game and they are 22nd in points given up to the QB position. A healthy Williams is great for Herbert, and I expect Williams to also have a big game. Herbert has been on fire the last couple weeks, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t ride the hot hand, putting him among the top fantasy football streamers.

Joe Burrow, CIN (vs CLE)

I love what I’m seeing from this young Bengals offense and Joe Burrow. The Bengals are second in the NFL in passing attempts. Burrow has over 300 passing yards in four out of six games, including last week against a strong Colts defense. His chemistry with fellow rookie Tee Higgins has been on full display. A.J. Green finally got involved last week, with eight receptions and 96 yards. Add in Tyler Boyd and Joe Mixon out of the backfield. and Burrow has a strong cast of weapons at his disposal. He takes on the Browns this week, who he played in week two. How did he perform? He had 316 passing yards and three touchdowns, good for QB9 on the week. That was in his second start ever. With a few more weeks of experience and the passing volume that this offense generates, I think he’s a strong streamer against the Browns.

Teddy Bridgewater, CAR (at NO)

This is another new offense with a strong cast of weapons where I love what I’ve seen through six weeks. The Panthers take on the Saints, who are quietly 31st in points allowed to the QB position. Herbert just torched the Saints for four touchdowns, and Stafford threw three touchdowns the week before that. The Saints should have a tough time handling Robby Anderson, DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel. Bridgewater has put up some solid fantasy performances. He had 25 points in Week 5 and 30 in Week 4. His worst performances have come against the Bears and the Buccaneers, who have proven to have great defenses thus far.

This should be a competitive matchup against a division rival. The Saints should have Michael Thomas back in this game, and I expect the Saints to put up points. Bridgewater will have to throw to keep up, and I think he’s going to deliver as a fantasy football streamer
