D’Ernest Johnson, CLE (vs. IND)
Nick Chubb is out five to six weeks with an MCL injury. Kevin Stefanski has implemented a great offensive system in Cleveland that relies on the running game. D’Ernest Johnson looks poised to fill a big role, with Chubb out, making him an elite streamer option this week. On Sunday against the Cowboys he went 13/95, which was good for 7.3 yards/carry. He passed the eye test for me. It seemed like he was ripping off chunk gains every time he touched the ball. He even had more carries than Kareem Hunt in the game. It will be hard to throw a player in your lineup that has produced for only half a game in the NFL. The other Browns backup running back, Dontrell Hilliard, had five carries. Its possible that Johnson splits time with Hilliard and Hunt gets the bulk of the work. However, if you need a running back start, Johnson could step up in a big way. The potential is there for a running back that looked as talented as he did on Sunday for a team that will continue to rely on the run game.

Nyheim Hines, IND (@CLE)
There aren’t many streaming running back options available that will get more touches than Nyheim Hines is getting. Last week against the Bears he had 12 touches (9 carries, 3 receptions). The week before he had 11 touches (7 carries, 4 receptions). Nyheim Hines is a total gamescript player. If the Colts are passing and in comeback mode, Hines will be heavily involved, and Philip Rivers is the epitome of Checkdown Charlie. For a player as talented as Hines, he’s bound to rip off some chunk plays if he gets over 10 touches/game.
Chase Edmonds, ARI (@NYJ)
Chase Edmonds is a must-own for any Kenyan Drake owner, but he could be a good play this week against the Jets. Edmonds had six targets and five receptions last week against the Panthers. His six targets are more than Kenyan Drake has on the entire season. Edmonds also has four carries and got a touchdown, his second of the season. Edmond’s situation is really similar to Hines. Both players are very talented change-of-pace backs. It’s hard to put a player in your lineup that only had nine touches the week before. Kliff Kingsbury came out after the loss to the Panthers and said he needs to change some things on offense. I think he might try and get the run game going against the Jets.
I think the Cardinals jump out to an early lead and put up a lot of points in this game. Edmonds should get some great opportunities to make some big plays, making him a Week 5 fantasy football streamer.
