If you have a little uncertainty at the quarterback position, you may need to search the waivers to see who is available for a plug and play. These are the top Week 5 fantasy football streamers at quarterback that may be available for a pickup.
Week 5 Fantasy Football Streamers at QB
Kirk Cousins, MIN (@SEA)
Only rostered in 16% of ESPN leagues, Kirk Cousins can deliver for fantasy owners this week. Cousins plays Seattle, who is currently 31st in points given up to the quarterback position. Seattle will score a lot of points in this game and Cousins will need to throw a lot to keep up. Vegas currently projects this at a whopping 57.5 O/U. The biggest reason why I’m in on for fantasy football streamers Cousins though is the emergence of rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson has over 100 yards in back-to-back games and he’s providing Cousins with the second option he desperately needs outside of Adam Thielen.

Teddy Bridgewater, CAR (@ATL)
I debated putting Bridgewater in this article last week but I eventually got scared off. No more. He’s surrounded with weapons at the wide receiver position in DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, and Curtis Samuel. Their run game looks great even with Christian McCaffrey out. This team is moving the ball and it’s encouraging for a team with a new head coach in a completely new system. Teddy Bridgewater is only going to get better as the season progresses as he becomes more comfortable with this offense and develops chemistry with his wide receivers. He takes on Atlanta this week who is reeling with injuries and just let Aaron Rodgers throw four touchdown passes with ease without Green Bays’ top two receiving options.
Gardner Minshew, JAX (@HOU)
DJ Chark is back! Chark was active and healthy last week, going 8/95/2 and was huge for Gardner Minshew and the Jaguars offense. Minshew struggled in week three without Chark in the lineup, but bounced back big against the Bengals. He went 27/40 for 351 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He is currently the QB9 on the season. Hopefully Laviska Shenault Jr. plays, who left in the second half of the Bengals game with a hamstring injury. Don’t let one bad Thursday night game against the Dolphins scare you off, when he didn’t have his best receiver on the field. Minshew is a perfectly capable fantasy streamer.
