What an exciting start to the season with last week’s “fantasy jackpot,” and this game lines up to be even better. The rematch of the NFC Championship always will line up to be a good game, but with how the game ended last year, this one means a little more. I expect all fantasy players for each team to provide great value to your team.

New Orleans Saints

After a great start in fantasy and real football, I expect the Saints to do it again. Alvin Kamara should no doubt be a top play this week, especially after the way the Saints utilized him last week, and I expect Michael Thomas and Drew Brees to keep their connection going. This game lines up to be high-scoring so Latavius Murray, is also a fine play, as he should get 10 touches and run in a touchdown. Jared Cook disappointed fantasy owners last week, but unless you have much better options, roll out Cook, as the game script should favor him.

Los Angeles Rams

With last week sort of being a dud week for this high-powered offense, I expect a tremendous bounce back for this Rams squad. I envision the same output for the Rams players as the Texans had last week, and maybe even more, since the Rams have a much better offensive line. All three Rams wide receivers (Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp) should be top 15-20 plays at the position this week, and Cooks should have a major bounce-back week, as this is a revenge game. With the emergence of Malcolm Brown, Todd Gurley’s production should go down a little bit, but he is still a solid RB2 and Brown may even be a flex play this week. Overall, this will be a high-scoring affair and lots of fantasy points will be had.
